Version 1.6 is starting to be released from the reviewers at Apple. The first batch of cities (New York, Boston, Miami and Houston) came out today with more on the way. There are a number of new features:
- Transit now renders better, especially in the Transit view mode.
- There is a new Place Directory that allow you to jump to any known city/suburb/town or any transpiration location (Airport, Ferry Terminal, Train Station, Subway stop).
- Search is more forgiving and more powerful – you can search for keywords in the metadata (find me all the sushi restaurants or Parking.
- Highway exits are marked and highways have bubbles labeling their number.
