Adding North American Cities

I’m working on updating and adding North American Cities.  Version 1.4 of the engine supports iPad and iPhone 4 and there are many new features based on your feedback!

I bought your app, and it was horrible. Instead of adding more cities, you should improve the way the thing functions. Just try navigating with it, and you will quickly find all kinds of things wrong. The search doesn’t work right, the street names don’t pop up when or where you want them to, it’s very difficult to find things like subway stops, and it’s hard to scroll and zoom. In short, the thing is ugly, inaccurate, and difficult to use. Do the right thing, and fix the problems instead of trying to sell more apps to customers who will regret buying them.

      Thanks for the feedback!

Version 1.6 of the App is coming out in North America starting today. Besides updated data from the OpenStreetMap project, the new version has a number of improvements (including scrolling and search) and a new Places Directory to help you find places (including a subway/train station directory). The city updates will come out over the next week weeks as they work their way through Apple’s review queue.

      Thanks again for the feedback.

My husband and I had to move to Toronto for a year (we are from the US), and were completely lost so we purchased your Toronto map and it saved us. I purchased many maps prior to yours and NONE of them even compared to yours! It works flawlessly without a WIFI connection and I LOVE how the street names move with the map. It is the best thing ever & I just wanted to say Thank You for creating such a thoughtful & amazing app! I will definitely be purchasing every single app you create for the U.S. and anywhere else we travel!

One more thing… if at all possible would you add Los Angeles, CA when you get a chance??? Thanks!
