When I try to search for an address for a numbered street it can’t find it. I put in “Broadway” and it was fine. I put in 66th street – nothing. or an adress such as 444 East 66th Street. What’s the point. AM I doing something wrong. Remember, NYC is made up of numbered streets. Please respond.

Thanks for the feedback. A few hints:
The product does not address numbers (the 444 in your example). This product is targeted as a small download for travelers – the street number database (for a large city) makes the product too large to download over wifi.
Search is case sensitive and matches the whole word. If you type in “66th street” (lower case s on street) and the database has road labeled “East 66th Street” (capital on Street) it won’t match. If you search for “66″ it will return “East 66th Street”, “West 66th Street”, “66th St”and so on.
We are working to improve search.
I have an Ipod Touch and I go to Paris a lot for work. I just want to be clear before I buy the app. I don’t have to have internet or gps on my Ipod Touch for this to work, right? Also, does it have Velib stations marked under the bike route section? Thanks, Michelle
